Joint operation results in drug seizure valued at approximately €100,000
On 15/06/2026, as part of an intelligence-led operation involving Revenue Customs Service, the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB) and Drugs Unit Crime North DMR West, approximately 5kg of suspected herbal cannabis was seized in Dublin. The illicit drugs have an estimated value of €100,000.
One female, aged in her 30s, was arrested by An Garda Síochána and is currently detained under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 in a Garda Station in Dublin.
Investigations are ongoing.
